Larry Upton - Founder & President
Larry founded edioma after having spent the last fifteen years in international business development for a variety of information technology start-ups. Larry has successfully closed business with many Global 1000 consumer electronics firms including Motorola, Sony Corporation, Philips Electronics, and Olympus. As head of business development, Larry has negotiated distribution agreements with Movida Celular, Fusion Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T Mobility and secured a strategic content development partnership with Grupo Cisneros, Latin America’s largest broadcast/online media producer. Larry holds a BS, Business Management from Millsaps College and a CEE from the Sorbonne, Paris, France.

Craig Negoescu - Co-Founder, CAO
Craig co-founded edioma after accumulating over 20 plus years of audio-visual media design experience. In 1994, Craig joined the creative team that would eventually form the digital media division of frog design. At frog design, Craig advanced the science of embedded sound design with his development of brand and product sound for MacOS 9, Disney, Motorola, Vodafone, and Cingular Wireless. Craig's work has earned many awards, including a Clio, Communications Arts Gold, several IDSA awards, and over a dozen Gold and Silver New Media Awards. His expertise has been recognized in the Boston Globe, ID magazine, Microsoft.com, Electronic Musician and New Media Magazine.

Erin Defosse – VP Product Strategy
Erin brings to edioma over twelve years wireless product design and development experience. Previously, Erin founded Isochron Data Corporation, a provider of wireless data communication solutions, where he raised over $14.5MM in early-stage funding. Prior to Isochron, Erin co-founded Navtrax, a developer of wireless tracking systems, after a five-year stint at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Erin serves on the boards of Affinegy, RF Micron, Wimax.com, eZee, the Austin Technology Council, is Chairman of the Austin Wireless Alliance, and serves as Director of ATI Wireless, part of the Austin Technology Incubator at The University of Texas. Erin holds an MBA and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas and an MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.

Sylvia Acevedo – VP Content
Sylvia directs all edioma’s content creation and curation processes, having spent over twenty-two years in content design and management on behalf of Dell, IBM, and Apple. Sylvia holds demonstrable expertise in bilingual content creation, and manages a successful printed language-instruction service provider called CommuniCard, LLC. Sylvia was named “Hispanic Businesswoman of the Year for 2004” by the US Hispanic Business Chamber of Commerce. A native Spanish speaker, Sylvia holds engineering degrees from Stanford University (Master’s) and New Mexico State (Bachelor’s) where she graduated with Honors and served on the Board of Regents.

Jim Tipton - CFO
Jim heads up edioma's financial and accounting functions, bringing deep domain experience in telecommunications and technology on the whole. In his last capacity as CFO for OnFiber Communications (no. 41, Inc. 500 2005), Jim oversaw the company's $134MM acquisition by Qwest Services (www.qwest.com). Prior to OnFiber, Jim served as Controller for ConnectSouth Communications, overseeing their stratospheric growth from zero to 480 employees in only 15 months and securing $125MM in equity financing from Morgan Stanley. Jim began his career as a CPA at Price Waterhouse after having earned his MBA from the University of Texas.
